While it’s perfectly safe for passenger cars, we recommend driving slowly and keeping an eye out for the occasional critter, both wild and domestic. As we’re situated in a desert, rural area, wildlife is a part of everyday life here. You may encounter insects, geckos, foxes, deer, marmots, bobcats, mountain lions, and other fascinating creatures during your stay. While our house is weather-tight, it’s not entirely insect-proof, so if you’re particularly averse to our tiny friends, this might not be your ideal spot.
